Your margin is in the hours you don’t bill for.
Nguma gives them back.
Every Government placement carries hours of coordination, note-taking and report writing that rarely appear on an invoice. Nguma automates them, so your consultants spend their time on candidates and clients, and you take on more panels without adding headcount.
All the manual admin quietly erodes margins
The more candidates, the more admin.
Nguma takes the administration. Your consultants keep the work that wins.
The judgement, the client relationship and the candidate calls stay with your people. Everything around them is automated and documented as it happens.
The administration, end to end
- Application and CV intake, structured and searchable
- Interview scheduling matched to panel and candidate availability
- Real-time interview scribing via Teams, Zoom or Google Meet
- Panel deliberation and moderation captured as it happens
- Selection Reports drafted from the record, optionally under your branding
- A compliance record you can hand to the client per engagement
- Shortlisting, candidate assessment and reference checkingComing soon
The work your clients pay you for
- Understanding the client and scoping the role
- Sourcing and attracting the right candidates
- Deciding who goes forward, and why
- Running the interview and reading the room
- Reviewing and approving every record before it leaves your agency
- Advising the client and managing the relationship
From producing the record to reviewing it.
Without Nguma, your consultant scribes the interview and writes the report. With Nguma, they review a transcript and read a one-page report. The same compliant output. A fraction of the time.
The same engagement. Review, not production.
- Nguma joins the session and produces a speaker-attributed transcript in real time
- Your consultant reviews the transcript at 1.5–2× speed: about 30 minutes per interview
- Nguma drafts the Selection Report from the transcript automatically
- Your consultant reads and approves a one-page report: about 15 minutes per interview
The reasons your Government clients renew with you.
Panel contract renewals are decided on delivery quality, compliance record and client confidence. Nguma gives you structured, documented, defensible evidence across every engagement.

Nguma spend counts toward your MMR obligations.
Agencies with high-value Government contracts carry Mandatory Minimum Requirements for Indigenous participation. Spending with Nguma contributes directly to your supply chain percentage, with documented evidence ready for tender responses and contract audits.
Mandatory Minimum Requirements
For Commonwealth contracts above the Mandatory Minimum Requirements threshold in 19 specified industry sectors, suppliers must meet a 4% Indigenous workforce or 4% Indigenous supply chain target. Spending with Nguma contributes directly to your supply chain percentage, reducing the workforce obligation you would otherwise need to carry.
1.5% Aboriginal participation
For NSW Government contracts above the Aboriginal Participation threshold, suppliers must allocate at least 1.5% of contract value to Aboriginal participation, including through subcontracting. Nguma spend counts toward that allocation, and we provide the participation data formatted for your reporting.
Questions from agency principals and consultants.
As a recruitment agency, do we carry Privacy Act obligations independently of our clients?
Yes. Recruitment agencies are data controllers in their own right under the Privacy Act 1988, separately from the Government agencies they serve. Every time a consultant records an interview, they are collecting personal information subject to APP 3 for consent, APP 6 for purpose limitation, APP 8 for cross-border disclosure and APP 11 for security. Nguma captures consent automatically at the start of every session, holds candidate records in Australia, and logs every access event.
Does Nguma screen or rank candidates for us?
No. Nguma does not screen, score, rank or filter candidates at any stage, and it has no capability to do so. It structures what candidates submitted so your consultants can assess faster, and records who decided what, when and on what basis. Your Government clients are working to merit obligations and responsible AI policies that require the judgement to be human, documented and contestable. Nguma is built so you can answer that question without hesitation.
Will my Government clients accept AI-assisted Selection Reports?
Yes. Nguma’s Selection Reports are generated from structured interview data captured in real time, with every point in the report traceable back to a recorded answer or assessment outcome. The report is AI-assisted and human-reviewed, approved by your consultant before it is delivered to the client. The audit trail behind it is exportable, which is more than most manual processes can produce when a decision is challenged.
Does Nguma integrate with our existing eRecruit System?
Nguma is designed to integrate with common eRecruit System platforms used by Australian recruitment agencies, and can also connect to systems like your HRIS and CRM. For interview scribing it works natively with Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet, the tools your consultants already use. Because every instance is configured and used differently, each integration is scoped as its own piece of work rather than sold as a switch you flick.
Does Nguma spend count toward our MMR Indigenous supply chain obligations?
Yes. Nguma is Majority Indigenous-owned and controlled, and Supply Nation registered. Spending with Nguma counts toward your Mandatory Minimum Requirement Indigenous supply chain percentage on qualifying Commonwealth contracts. For NSW contracts, it satisfies Aboriginal Participation Plan obligations on qualifying contracts. We provide letters of engagement, certification copies and participation data formatted for your reporting requirements.
Can we brand Nguma’s outputs for our agency?
Yes. Client-facing outputs including Selection Reports and interview records can be produced under your agency’s branding. For agencies on Government supplier panels, this means your clients see your agency’s name on compliant, AI-assisted documentation. Contact us to discuss what is available for your agency.
