Missing documentation equals indefensible process
If the MPC asks and you can’t produce it, the process failed.
When the MPC reviews a promotion, the Agency must provide all information and documents created during the selection process: conflict declarations, the role description, advertisement, shortlisting documents, interview questions, referee reports, and the selection report.
If a document does not exist, the Agency cannot produce it. If a document was created but was not kept, the Agency cannot produce it. Either way, the process looks undefended.
The failure point is usually the same: documentation is created in moments, an email, a handwritten note, a draft shortlist in a spreadsheet, and then not captured into a single governed record. By the time a review arrives, the artefacts have been lost, deleted, or scattered across personal drives.
